Saw a Dr Wang about my son yesterday. I have never felt so rushed in a consultation and it was clear that Dr Wang wanted us out of the door asap. He was polite enough but very short, and with all the negative press GP surgeries are facing, I think Dr Wang needs to be aware of this in his consultations. Is it not his job to ensure that patients he is seeing are welcomed & given the time to talk to the doctor, not to be made to feel like a burden and nuisance. I think it is common sense, treat others as you would like to be treated. The surgery need to be a little more prudent in the locum doctors they use.

We were very sorry to hear of your disappointing consultation with Dr Wang, a doctor we have engaged regularly as a locum. The ethos of the practice is to ensure that patients and their families are treated with respect and dignity at all times and we will discuss this issue with Dr Wang prior to booking him again.
